Comparative analysis of Neptunea cumingii growth, related digestive and immune enzyme indicators, and liver transcriptome under different feeding conditions

Neptunea cumingii is a carnivorous snail with very high market value, but it cannot be cultivated on large scale at present due to the lack of an appropriate artificial feed. In this study, we fed N. four kinds diets ( Cristaria plicata meat, Chlamys farreri mantle, Mytilus edulis and feed) for 90 days then measured growth indexes digestive immune enzyme indexes. A total 3407 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) found M. vs. comparison. 3422 DEGs identified 3,929 mantle Through Gene Ontology (GO) Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis, different mainly enriched energy metabolism, growth, immunity pathways. Our results indicated that tested, had best effect , provided important reference identification suitable development breeding.
